FOCUS VENTURES INC. was formed in 2007 to exclusively distribute market and service Chana and FAW vehicles in the Philippines.

ChangAn Auto Co. Ltd., or simply called ChangAn, is the fourth-largest automobile manufacturer in China. Its headquarters is in Chongqing in southwest of China.

ChangAn first entered the auto industry in 1957, making military vehicles. It established joint venture with international auto leaders such as Ford, Mazda and Suzuki. They are ChangAn Suzuki Auto Corp. (established in 1993), ChangAn Ford Auto Corp. (established in 2001), and ChangAn Ford Nanjing Corp. (2004). It assembles models such as Ford Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo, as well as its own brand.        

ChangAn attaches great importance to safety and quality. Its goals are fuel efficiency, environmental protection and functionally in making cars. ChangAn is the first manufacturer in China to make its own hybrid vehicles, the Jie Xun mini station wagon.

ChangAn has 28,000 employees, including engineering and research staff in Italy, Germany and Shanghai. It manufactures more than 580,000 cars annually.

Chana is the international brand name for ChangAn.

About the Company

FOCUS VENTURES INC. is currently building a 2,000 square meter head office on a 3,000 square meter property on Sheridan St. in Mandaluyong. It will serve as the main showroom, service and training centre, warehouse and parts depot. This property is wholly owned by the principals of FOCUS VENTURES. The company is also considering properties in Makati to serve as its second showroom. Dealerships are planned for 4Q 2008.

The company’s current sales organization is comprised of 1 sales manager, 1 sales supervisor, and 12 sales associates. The service group is led by a service manager, 1 service advisor and 4 technicians. Additional personnel will be hired as the organization grows.

Being a young company, FOCUS VENTURES will draw strength from FOCUS GLOBAL INC., a marketing company that has been distributing world-renowned brands for over 15 years.
