CAMPI president visits EN-Tsumugi vehicle dismantling facility
Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) president Jose Maria M. Atienza visited EN-Tsumugi ELV Dismantling Corporation as part of the association’s ongoing efforts to deepen understanding of circular economy in the automotive industry.
EN-Tsumugi is the first Japan-standard end-of-life vehicle (ELV) dismantling facility in the Philippines. It was established in 2024 in partnership with Tsuruoka Co. Ltd., which specializes in ELV dismantling and recycling systems.
CAMPI met with Tsuruoka and Japan International Cooperation Agency consultants in 2022 and 2024 for discussions on ELV management in the Philippines. CAMPI continues to promote sustainability and supports the advancement of circular economy in the automotive industry under the Sustainability Pillar of its Four Actions Framework.
