Officially inaugurated in 1st of June 2022, Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH) is Hyundai Motor Company’s official sales subsidiary and distributor for Hyundai passenger cars in the Philippines. Hyundai is now back in Philippine shores with a stronger purpose and commitment since the Philippines plays an important role for Hyundai especially in the Asia Pacific Region. The company’s vision, “Progress for Humanity” is a dedication to moving humanity forward flows throughout everything we do –inspiring us to conceive, create, and craft vehicles that open new chapters in mobility and help redefine our journey as a global community.

Hyundai Accelerate

HMPH launched its pilot educational aid program, “Hyundai Accelerate”, in partnership with Don Bosco Technical Institute (DBTI), the City Government of Pasig, Quezon City Government, and the Department of Education Taguig City and Pateros (DepEd TAPAT).

40 students were chosen for On-the-Job Training (OJT) at designated Hyundai Service Centers in Metro Manila. This included training in basic vehicle inspection, diagnosis, and repair, equipping students with knowledge in automotive technology. Furthermore, the program’s Top 9 performing students were sent to the Hyundai Global Learning Center (GLC) in Cheonan, South Korea, for specialized training sponsored by Hyundai Motor Company.

The inaugural batch of Hyundai Accelerate scholars are set to graduate in November 2024. HMPH looks forward to selecting its second batch of scholars in the following school year.
